refactor(code-metrics): audit router wave 2 of 5 (move the coverage join scripts) #12620

Closed as not planned

Description

@kyle-sexton

Refs #12491

Blocked by #12619 (the skills/audit/ router must exist).

Outcome

Wave 2 of 5 in the #12491 sized wave plan. This wave only prepares the coverage move. It moves plugins/code-metrics/skills/audit-coverage/scripts/join.py and test_join.py to plugins/code-metrics/skills/audit/scripts/, and repoints audit-coverage.sh ($SCRIPT_DIR/join.py) and every other reference to them. The audit-coverage leaf stays in place for wave 3. The two files hold 114 KB, so moving them with the rest of coverage would go over the cap (366,046 bytes measured).

  • Measured: 237,032 bytes of git diff --no-renames at b92833d99a. Headroom is about 25 KB, so add nothing else to this wave.

Done when

  • The audit-coverage tests (audit-coverage.test.sh, test_join.py) pass from the new location.
  • git diff --no-renames origin/main of the PR is under 262144 bytes.
  • scripts/validate-plugins.sh passes, and a merge probe is posted per D82/Q186.

    Proposed work class: work-class: mechanical
Basis: automated intake triage; the lanes App applied this class.

    Size: Small
    Complexity: Low
    Uncertainty: Known
    Flags: none
    Blocked by: #12619

Understood: this is wave 2 of the #12491 plan. It moves the coverage join scripts (join.py, test_join.py) into skills/audit/scripts/, repoints audit-coverage.sh and any other references, and leaves the audit-coverage leaf in place for wave 3. The done-when items are concrete and checkable. The issue says it depends on the wave 1 router issue, so I listed #12619 as blocking. This isn't a duplicate. #12619 is wave 1, and the other open wave issues cover different waves.

Automated triage, applied by the lanes App.

Not admitted to the issue lane yet: blocker #12619 is not closed by a listed human or a merge; blocker #12491 is not closed by a listed human or a merge.

Closed not planned: the owner re-scoped #12491 to option 3 (keep the leaves, distinct trimmed descriptions) and dropped the router merge and its waves: #12491 (comment). The remaining work is #12491 itself.
