Appends a dated foot Note to ADR-0003 that attributes two choices in the reserved-prefix Amendment of 2026-09-29 to the change that carried it, not to the operator's ruling the Amendment opens with:

  • giving the suite's nested modules the Conformance prefix (RetiringSerialization and ReentrantSerialization became ConformanceRetiringSerialization and ConformanceReentrantSerialization);
  • recording the contract as a dated Amendment of this record.

The Note follows the 2026-10-04 Note, which did the same for the aliases paragraph. That a dated Note carries the attribution was ruled by the operator, 2026-10-06. No status line changes; no decision changes.

Direction check of the record text

Every claim was read on origin/main at 60808e0. The quoted opening sentence "Ruled by the operator, 2026-09-29." and the paragraph heading "One reserved prefix." are verbatim in the Amendment. The 2026-10-04 Note records that the opening sentence does not cover the aliases paragraph and that the ruling set the reserved prefix and its moduledoc statement as the host's contract. The nested module names before the change are those at c720da0 (StatifierPersistence.Testing.StorageConformance, the using block), and after it those on main in the same block. 20fb8bb is the commit that carries the Amendment, the prefix and the new nested module names, and is an ancestor of main; the conformance module has no commit after it on main, so the moduledoc sentence giving nested modules the Conformance spelling is unchanged. git diff origin/main -- docs/adr/ shows zero removed lines; the Note sits at the foot, after the 2026-10-04 Note.

Gate

Docs only: the diff touches only docs/adr/, outside the gated paths (lib/, test/, config/, mix.exs, mix.lock), so there is no local gate to run under this repo's rule for a change touching no Elixir code. CI runs the full quality gate on the request. No changelog fragment: changelog.d/README.md excludes ADRs.

Appends a dated foot Note to ADR-0003. The reserved-prefix Amendment
of 2026-09-29 opens with the operator's ruling, and that sentence
reads as covering the whole Amendment. Two choices in it were the
change's own, not the ruling's: giving the suite's nested modules the
Conformance prefix, and recording the contract as an Amendment of
this record. The Note attributes both to the change that carries the
Amendment, as the 2026-10-04 Note did for the aliases paragraph.
Ruled by the operator, 2026-10-06.

Zero removed lines; no status change. Docs only: the diff touches no
gated path, so there is no gate to run.
