syncManagedTools > rejects an installed plugin file that grows around bounded reads. The same code passed PR #96 CI on Bun 1.4.4, so this is a timing race, not a Bun behavior change.The test spawns a mutator that appends to
unexpected-growingwhile fclt hashes the installed tree. On a busy or single-core runner the bounded read can finish between appends, so fclt fails closed oninstalled tree hash differs from bundled payloadinstead of the per-file change check. Reproduced deterministically on Linux withtaskset -c 0(4/4 fail on main).Fix: still require
status: failed, and accept either fail-closed reason. Test-only. With the patch: 6/6 pass (3 pinned to one core, 3 unpinned).Follow-up option: a test seam in the reader so the per-file growth path is deterministic. Refs HACK-1404.
