The Instruction counts vs base job built head and base with default features, which do not include macros, so any bench_hot_path case behind #[cfg(feature = "macros")] never reached the gate. Both build lines now pass --features macros; the README paragraph on the check says so.

macros exists at every base the job uses, including the last release tag, so the flag works whether or not the example has a macro case yet. On an unchanged library it adds no case and moves none.

Verification

This PR's own run: Instruction counts vs base reads PASS, 104 of 104 cases within noise.
Stacked on #212, so both builds contain macro_hit: throwaway #219 (closed, branch deleted), run reads PASS, 116 of 116 measured. All 12 macro_hit cases have a verdict (faster, head spread 0.00%), none INCOMPLETE or NOISIER.
