# Japanese (ja) Translation guidelines for Airflow

This skill provides locale-specific rules for Japanese translations in Airflow UI.

## Core Rules
- **Politeness**: Use the "Desu/Masu" (polite) form for all UI strings, especially when a user action is expected.
- **Spacing**: Put a space before and after English words, numerical values, and half-width characters if they are not at the beginning or end of a sentence.
- **Plurals**: Japanese locale does not use i18next plural suffixes.

## Terminology Guidelines
| English Term | Japanese (Katakana) / English | Logic |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| **Dag / Dags** | Dag / Dags | Keep in English per global guidelines. |
| **Task** | タスク | Standard Katakana. |
| **Providers** | Providers | Keep in English as there is no good translation. |
| **Trigger** | トリガー | Standard Katakana transliteration. |
| **Triggerer** | Triggerer | Keep in English (トリガーラー is difficult to understand). |

## Workflow
1. Identify technical terms and apply the specific transliteration rules above.
2. Ensure sentences follow the "Desu/Masu" structure for user actions.
3. Apply the spacing rule for English/Numerical characters within Japanese text.
