Add only Docker Engine 29.8.0 to the supported host policy while preserving prior ranges and keeping later versions untested. Update README and compatibility guidance, run 11 boundary classification cases, verify the settings inside the release JAR, align CodeQL candidate version gate, and keep Linux checkout clean with LF-normalized compatibility text. Hold merge and release until separate three-backend Ubuntu 26.04 runtime acceptance passes.
