The browser e2e ran as a step of the deploy job, so it held the deploy (and the preview comment) for its whole run, could only be retried by redeploying, and ran third-party test tooling next to the AWS deploy role and every preview secret. - New `e2e` job after `deploy-pr-preview`, reading the URLs from its outputs. - It loads only PREVIEW_SIGNIN_KEY and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY: Infisical exports to a file, the two keys move to the env masked, the file is deleted. - Chromium is cached by the @e2e-dev/web version instead of installed with apt deps every run. - No longer continue-on-error: a failure shows as its own red, non-required check.

… deploy's URL outputs as secret-bearing
Maple review🟢 Confidence 8/10 · likely safe to merge Moves the preview browser e2e into its own unprivileged job that reruns without a redeploy and gets nothing but two secrets. Safe to merge once the Infisical export path is spelled one way.

fetch only PREVIEW_SIGNIN_KEY and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY individually using
secret-name with export-type set to env, instead of exporting all secrets to a
file and filtering afterward. Keep the ANTHROPIC_API_KEY fetch non-fatal because
it is optional.

…acked test on preview:web - Infisical `secret-name` fetches PREVIEW_SIGNIN_KEY (required) and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY (optional) into the env, so no other preview secret ever reaches the job. Drops the file export, its parsing and its path mismatch. - The e2e checkout no longer persists the token. - "keeps an API-made tiered rule intact through UI edits" loads the rule over Electric sync, which preview:web does not deploy: it failed on every web-only preview and passed on full ones. It registers only when sync exists (MAPLE_E2E_NO_SYNC).

Why
The browser e2e ran as a step inside the preview deploy job. That caused three problems:
What
A new
e2ejob runs afterdeploy-pr-preview(only when the seed and smoke test pass). It builds the web and API URLs from the PR number (app-pr-<n>/api-pr-<n>.maple.dev). The deploy job's URL outputs can't be used: GitHub drops a job output that contains any masked value, and some short Infisical values appear in those hostnames. It loads only
PREVIEW_SIGNIN_KEY(required) andANTHROPIC_API_KEY(optional), each fetched bysecret-name, so no other preview secret ever reaches the job. It gets no AWS role, its checkout doesn't keep the token, and its permissions arecontents: readandid-token: write.Chromium is cached, keyed by the
@e2e-dev/webversion. The--with-depsapt install is dropped becauseubuntu-latestalready has the libraries (same approach asci.yml).No more
continue-on-error: a failing e2e now shows as its own red check. It isn't required, so it doesn't block merges. The job condition uses
!cancelled(), like the deploy job. The implicitsuccess()fails wheningest-binarytwo jobs up is skipped, which is always the case onpreview:web."keeps an API-made tiered rule intact through UI edits" now registers only when the preview has Electric sync (
MAPLE_E2E_NO_SYNC). It loads the rule over sync, whichpreview:webdoesn't deploy. Before this PR it failed on every web-only preview and passed on full ones, hidden bycontinue-on-error.Verification
actionlintis clean.KEY='value'file.preview:web, so the new job runs against a real preview.Need help on this PR? Tag
