Jaybird Source Code

Jaybird JCA/JDBC driver is released under the LGPL license, though the JDBC-extension interfaces are released under the modified BSD license. See licensing for more information.

Source repository

The Jaybird sources can be found on GitHub. The master branch is for active development of future versions, while Branch_x_y (eg Branch_2_2) are for maintenance releases of that version.

The repository can be found at https://github.com/FirebirdSQL/jaybird.

For easier contribution (and creating pull requests), we suggest you create your own fork of Jaybird.

Developer access

Developer access requires access to the FirebirdSQL organization on GitHub

If you don’t have access to the FirebirdSQL organization, you can either request read-write access on the firebird-java or firebird-devel mailinglist, or you can fork the repository and create pull requests.
