  2. 测试之间的 mock 泄漏:codeCommitterReportVisualization.test.ts 用 mock.module('child_process') 把 execSync 换成固定返回 'abc123def456',且从不还原。
  5. Docker 集成测试在 CI 里通过 FSC_SKIP_DOCKER_TESTS=1 跳过;六个测试文件里重复的 Docker 检测合并成 test/helpers/docker.ts。

The only workflow was Rust. tsc, bun test and the TS reference behind the Rust golden
fixtures were never run in CI. Docker integration tests are skipped in CI via
FSC_SKIP_DOCKER_TESTS=1 (shared helper test/helpers/docker.ts replaces six copies of the
same availability check).

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Automated checks now run on pushes to the main branch and on pull requests, covering typechecking, core tests, and generated fixture consistency.
  • Tests
    • Docker-dependent tests now share a consistent availability check and can be skipped when Docker is unavailable or explicitly disabled.
    • Repository-based tests now locate the project from their own location, improving portability across environments.

The pull request adds a GitHub Actions workflow for typechecking, core tests, and golden fixture drift checks. It also centralizes Docker availability detection and updates test cleanup and repository path resolution.

Changes: CI and test reliability

Layer / File(s) Summary
Shared Docker test gate
packages/core/test/helpers/docker.ts, packages/core/test/copyFilesToContainer.test.ts, packages/core/test/dockerInstance.test.ts, packages/core/test/dockerInstanceFileRead.test.ts, packages/core/test/runCommandAsync.test.ts, packages/core/test/taskSolverClaudeCode.test.ts, packages/core/test/taskSolverGemini.test.ts
Docker-dependent tests now use the shared dockerAvailable value. The helper skips the Docker probe when FSC_SKIP_DOCKER_TESTS is "1"; otherwise, it checks docker info with a five-second timeout.
Test isolation and repository paths
packages/core/test/codeCommitterReportVisualization.test.ts, packages/core/test/salacia/coupling.test.ts, packages/core/test/salacia/replay-real-commits.test.ts
The visualization test restores the original child_process module after all tests. The Salacia tests resolve the repository path relative to their test files instead of using hard-coded Windows paths.
TypeScript CI workflow
.github/workflows/typescript.yml
The workflow runs on pushes to main and pull requests. It installs Bun dependencies without lifecycle scripts, runs typechecking and core tests, and fails if golden fixture generation leaves changes.

Explanation

The description is related to the changeset. It explains that the new TypeScript CI workflow runs typecheck, tests, and golden drift checks. It also lists the test fixes: the leaked child_process mock, hard-coded Windows paths, full-history checkout, and the shared Docker helper. It gives local and CI verification results and a note on coupling-test fragility. The description is specific and on topic.

P1 Badge Make repository-dependent tests portable before enabling CI

On the configured ubuntu-latest runner, this step runs test/salacia/coupling.test.ts and test/salacia/replay-real-commits.test.ts, both of which hard-code REPO = "D:/projects/full-self-coding". Their Git calls pass that nonexistent directory to spawnSync, causing failures unrelated to Docker availability. Running the suite on Linux with FSC_SKIP_DOCKER_TESTS=1 reproduced five failing coupling tests and an unhandled replay-test error. Consequently, the new check fails and never reaches the golden-fixture step. Make these tests use portable repository fixtures or explicitly gate the machine-specific tests before enabling this workflow.

…tory checkout in CI

The visualization test replaced child_process for the whole process and never restored it,
so CodeCommitter tests that ran after it saw execSync() === 'abc123def456' (found by the first
CI run; file order differs from local). Coupling tests read the repo's own history, which a
depth-1 checkout does not have.

Set read-only token permissions.

This job inherits its GITHUB_TOKEN permissions from repository or organization settings. If those settings grant write access, the test steps receive a write-capable token even though this job only reads the repository. Set top-level permissions: contents: read. GitHub documents that unspecified permissions inherit those settings. (docs.github.com) Based on learnings, GitHub Actions workflows should set a top-level permissions block that defaults to least privilege.

Disable persisted checkout credentials.

actions/checkout@v4 stores its token in the local Git configuration until post-job cleanup. The later test steps can read that token, but this workflow does not need authenticated Git commands after checkout. Set persist-credentials: false to remove that exposure. (github.com)
