Summary

Adds this week's changelog entries covering the new X Ads MCP server and the Delete Chat messages endpoint.

Changes

  • Added an Aug 21 entry announcing the X Ads MCP server at https://ads-api.x.com/mcp (23 tools, OAuth 2.0 scopes, PAUSED-by-default writes), linking to /x-ads-api/mcp.
  • Added an Aug 20 entry for the new POST /2/chat/conversations/{id}/messages/delete endpoint, linking to /x-api/chat/delete-chat-messages.

Context

Since the Aug 13, 2026 entry, the only product-facing changes merged to main were the Ads MCP launch (PR merging ads-mcp, commit 5eb6538) and the Delete Chat messages endpoint (added to the Chat API nav on Aug 20). Other commits in the window were OpenAPI regenerations, a docs-only fix for the customer directory cards, and enterprise directory content edits, which are not included.
