qiv (https://codeberg.org/ciberandy/qiv) does not start anymore after commit 839061a.
Yes, the commit fix the VirtualBox issues but now qiv (and maybe many other applications) do not start anymore.

Tested with the latest sources from git and with 0.96.0 with a few patches from git (including 839061a).
