fix(cache): preserve application list caches during rolling migration - #1051
Permission-changing Appwrite writes returned HTTP 503 during the legacy rolling pass because list-cache version markers use a TTL. List reads also stayed cold because the temporary database bridge rejected batch fills.
Delegate batch fills to the selected wire facade and require stable cache 6.1.3, which supports both operations in the old envelope format. Extend the existing region rotation to preserve an optional TTL; Appwrite can reuse it to rotate list-cache markers in both keyspaces, preventing a reader from the other phase from caching a result after a permission write.
The database change removes the batch-fill special case and adds no coordinator or cache service. The legacy → dual → v2 rollout is unchanged.
Validation: 13,152 database unit tests /199,733 assertions; final targeted bridge suite 12 tests /180 assertions; PHPStan and Pint. A real Redis regression covers expiring markers, warm batch reads, rotation, and purge invalidation through all three phases. Appwrite's additional list-cache regression proves the old cross-phase purge can cache a revoked row and the fix rejects it in both directions.
Follow-up to #1050. Integration: appwrite/appwrite#15134 and appwrite-labs/cloud#7131. CI and stable-source validation will be recorded before release. No production deployment.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Batch cache saves now work in legacy mode, matching the behavior available in other cache modes.
New Features
Cache rotation now accepts an optional time-to-live value, allowing rotated entries to retain a specified expiration.
Cache operations across legacy, dual, and v2 modes now support batch save and load behavior consistently.

Walkthrough
The cache bridge now handles batch fills in legacy mode and accepts a TTL when rotating keys in both keyspaces. Tests cover batch operations, value changes after rotation, and Redis TTLs across legacy, dual, and v2 modes. The cache dependency constraint also changes.

Mode-aware batch fills and TTL-preserving rotation composer.json, src/Database/Cache/Bridge.php, tests/unit/Cache/BridgeTest.php
The cache dependency constraint changes to ^6.1.3. Batch fills now use mode-selected readers and key mapping; legacy mode calls the legacy cache. Rotation accepts a TTL and passes it to saves in both keyspaces. Tests cover batch behavior and TTLs across bridge modes.
utopia-php/database#1050: Adds Cache\Bridge and its legacy, dual, and v2 behavior, which this change extends.
utopia-php/database#1049: Uses Bridge::rotate() for document cache invalidation, which is affected by the updated rotation behavior.

The implementation forwards the requested rotation TTL correctly. Adding the test’s upper bound is a small follow-up; no production failure is established. Compatibility with older cache readers remains unverified.

After rotate(), the test checks only that the Redis TTL is greater than zero. A regression that saves the rotated marker with a different positive TTL would still pass. Add an upper bound of 60 seconds to match the requested duration.

Update the TTL assertions after `rotate()` in the test to also verify that the

We couldn't verify this from the code. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Legacy-mode saveMany() now writes through the 6.1.3 legacy facade. Its batch representation may not be readable by an older cache client sharing the legacy keyspace, although the added test reads it back only through the new facade.
The older instance could fail to decode the batch or serve an incorrect list.
This can occur when: A new legacy-mode instance fills a list batch that an older instance subsequently reads during the rolling pass.
