Hi! This resubmits #162, which was auto-closed when I accidentally deleted the source fork during a cleanup — it wasn't rejected. Lockpaw is a free, MIT-licensed macOS menu bar screen guard written in native Swift: lock or cover your screen with a hotkey without putting the Mac to sleep, so AI coding agents and builds keep running, and the locked screen glows when your agent needs you (Touch ID unlock). Repo: https://github.com/sorkila/lockpaw — site: https://getlockpaw.com

One heads-up: while rebasing the entry I noticed the merge of #149 accidentally replaced the entire README with a copy of hastagAB/Awesome-Python-Scripts' README, wiping the list. The first commit here restores the previous README content (the intended entry from #149, shmlkv's dna-claude-analysis, would still need to be re-added in this list's format — happy to drop the restore commit if you'd rather handle it differently). The second commit adds Lockpaw under a new Swift section, as in #162.

The merge of unicodeveloper#149 replaced the entire list with a copy of the
Awesome-Python-Scripts README. This restores the previous content.

Friendly bump — this is still open and Lockpaw is still actively maintained. Since I filed it: v1.4.0 shipped today, adding armed Touch ID (rest a finger on the sensor and the locked screen unlocks, no click first), alongside fade-to-black for OLED displays, an optional-menu-bar-icon mode, and hook setup for six agent CLIs.

Current state: MIT, native Swift, ~10 MB, Developer ID signed and notarized, Sparkle auto-updates, 117 unit tests, CI green, and a Homebrew cask. macOS 14+.

Happy to rebase, move it to a different section, or trim the entry — just say which. And no hard feelings if it isn't a fit; a quick close is more useful to me than it sitting open.
