What

  • README rewritten. The story is short and first person: for a while I couldn't type comfortably, so Lucid is a productivity and accessibility tool for taking notes by voice, or with one hand. Then how it works, the diagram builder in its three phases (keywords, connections, editing by number), command mode, history and edit mode with the eval result, keeping notes (PDF, export, formats, the page's own look), the built-in MCP server and where it might go. The wording of the older README is gone from the page.
  • More pictures, all made with the real app by scripts/screenshots.mjs in the light and the dark theme: the three builder phases, the New page and Export note dialogs, block numbers in the dark theme and the page's own look. The first picture of the README is a dark app with a light page.
  • Framed copies (scripts/frame-images.mjs → docs/images/readme/): rounded corners and a thin edge, light for a dark picture and grey for a light one, so each stands out on GitHub's white and dark pages; the first picture has a white edge around the dark app and the light page. The website frames its own pictures in CSS and keeps using the plain ones. docs/features.md shows the framed copies too.
  • The site tells the same short story as the README.

Checks

Every commit passes typecheck, lint, format and the unit tests (git rebase -x). No application code changes, so the e2e suite is not affected.

screenshots.mjs now also makes the three phases of the diagram builder (the keywords, the connections, the edits by number),
the Export note dialog, block 4 in the dark theme and the page's own look in both directions, and frame-images.mjs makes
copies with rounded corners and a thin edge in docs/images/readme: a light edge for a dark picture and a grey one for a light
picture, so each stands out on GitHub's white and dark pages. The website frames its pictures in CSS and keeps the plain ones.

The story is the short one (for a while I couldn't type comfortably, so Lucid is a productivity and accessibility tool for
taking notes by voice or with one hand), followed by how it works, the diagram builder in its three phases, command mode,
history and edit mode, keeping notes (PDF, export, formats, the page's look) and the built-in MCP server. The pictures are the
framed copies; the first one is a dark app with a light page.
