1. Nothing too specialized: three formats, a small Blank page button

The inference engineering and benchmark formats are gone. Lucid comes with a concept note, a system design note and a comparison; a format is still one entry of data for anyone's own subject.

  • New page: the three formats are cards; Blank page is a small button under them, not a fourth card (and what is chosen to start with). The example text is general ("consistent hashing").
  • Prompts say "a technical subject" rather than inference engineering; the advisor's examples are a concept, a comparison and a system design; MCP descriptions list three.
  • A page that an earlier version made in one of the removed formats opens as a plain page with all its words (tested, and getFormat simply does not know the ids).
  • Evals: pick/placement cases use the three formats (a system design page replaces the benchmark one).
  • Docs, site (three cards and "your own"), the guide, the samples (two deleted) and the changelog are updated.

2. The page has its own light and dark

A dark app can show a light page (as paper) and a light app a dark one; the page's diagrams and tables follow it. A small button in the top bar goes like the app → light → dark; Settings → Appearance → Page has the same three. It is hidden where the top bar is short of room (History open in the default window), so the bar stays on one line: measured at nine window widths with History open and closed, and covered by the existing top-bar test plus the new one.

Checked

Each commit passes typecheck, lint, format and unit tests. Full e2e: 102 passed. New e2e: the dialog (three cards, small Blank button, nothing specialized), an old-format page, the page's look (cycling, dark page in a light app, light page in a dark app from Settings, kept, top bar on one line; mutation-checked). The window, builder and New page pictures are taken again with scripts/screenshots.mjs; the guide's markers were checked by drawing them over the picture.

Real-model evaluation (qwen/qwen3.8-27b, the prompts changed): 98 of 99, 99% overall, above the 90% bar. All the format pick and placement cases pass; the one miss is stt-misheard-names, a noisy case that already failed before this change.

…pecialized

Lucid came with five formats, two of them for one subject (inference engineering, benchmarks). Those two are gone: it comes with
a concept note, a system design note and a comparison, and a format is still one entry of data for anyone's own subject. New page
shows the three as cards and the blank page as a small button under them, not as a fourth card, and its example is general
(consistent hashing). The prompts say "a technical subject" instead of inference engineering, the advisor's examples are a concept,
a comparison and a system design, the evals pick and place cases use the three formats (a system design page replaces the benchmark
one), and the MCP descriptions list three. A page that an earlier version made in one of the two removed formats opens as a plain
page with all its words (tested).

A dark app can show a light page, as paper, and a light app a dark page. A small button in the top bar goes through "like the app",
light and dark (and is hidden where the bar is short of room); Settings, Appearance, Page has the same three choices. The choice
is kept, the page and its diagrams and tables are drawn in it, and the sidebar, the top bar, the input box and History stay in the
app's look. The colour tokens are shared by the app and by anything marked data-page-look, so the contrast test reads them there.
An end-to-end test covers the cycling, the dark page in a light app and the light page in a dark one from Settings, that it is kept,
and that the top bar stays on one line (mutation-checked: it fails when the page is not marked).

…age look

README, the formats page, the MCP page, the site (four cards: three formats and "your own") and the guide say three formats and a
Blank page button; the guide describes the page look (a marker for it on the window picture) and uses a general formula example. The
two removed formats' samples are deleted. The window, diagram builder and New page pictures (light and dark) are taken again by
scripts/screenshots.mjs, which now also takes the New page dialog and reports where the top bar's parts are for the guide's markers.
The changelog lists the three formats and the page look under 0.3.0.
