What

Settings → Dictation: how long a paste waits for more before Lucid sends it by itself.

Choice Effect
0.5 s (default, as before) sent half a second after the last piece arrives
1 s, 2 s for slower speech or longer pauses between phrases
Never the words wait in the box until Enter, so they can be read (and fixed) first; still recorded as a dictation

Kept in settings.json (an older file gets 0.5 s; a value that is not offered falls back to the default). The dictation bar follows the Settings window at once.

Checked

Unit tests for the setting (defaults, partial files, refusals). E2E: with 2 s nothing is sent after one second and it is sent later; with Never nothing is sent by itself, the words stay in the box, Enter sends them as a dictation. Mutation-checked (the Never test fails without the fix). The guide's Settings text and picture (light and dark) are updated. Full e2e: 99 passed.

Settings has a "Dictation" group: a paste (how dictation apps deliver words) is sent by itself after 0.5 s as before, or after 1 s or
2 s, which suits slower speech, or never, so the words wait in the box until Enter and can be read first. Kept in settings.json (a
file from before has 0.5 s). Unit tests cover the setting; an end-to-end test checks that nothing is sent after one second with 2 s,
that nothing is sent by itself with Never, and that Enter sends it, still as a dictation (mutation-checked).
