Getting Started

run the following to start the application:

1. 'npm install'
2. 'cd client'
3. 'npm install'
4. from dedicated CLI window/tab: 'mongod'
5. run 'npm start' from both the root directory and '/client'

Prerequisites

1. Node.js (required)
2. MongoDB (required for database functionality)

How to install prerequisites from CLI using Homebrew:

1. Update Homebrew
2. Node.js: 'brew install node'
3. MongoDB: 'brew instal mongodb'
