in the header, which is the banner image of the post. If it fits you can embed that image withn the post as well, otherwise you can just leave it for the post preview

How did you do the tidyomics image? It is awesome!

I guess it should be original, nothing fancy. Surely you can use AI.

For the tidyomics cover, that was the proposed cover for the journal that did not get selected, so I spent a lot of time on it. for that I started with internet photo, asked AI to create alternatives with the desired set-up, then heavily modify in Photoshop, also using generative filling for the bridge and beaches, illustrator for for the other details. A real designer job ;)
