The Claude auto review was posting "No issues found" after a few seconds. This replaces the short custom prompt with the built-in high-effort /code-review flow used by the working rawback-app/web workflow. Only .github/workflows/claude-code-review.yml changed. The runner stays ubuntu-latest.

This PR's own review run may be skipped because the workflow file differs from the default branch. That is expected.

What changed

  • Prompt is now /code-review high <PR#> --comment (the built-in command, not the code-review@claude-code-plugins plugin).
  • Checkout uses actions/checkout@v7 with fetch-depth: 0 so the review can diff, log, and blame against the base branch.
  • Permissions: pull-requests and issues are write; checks, statuses, and actions are read.
  • show_full_output: true so an early or shallow run leaves a reason in the job log. The reference comment said the repo was private; this repository is public, so the comment notes that Actions logs are visible.
  • Allowed tools are Bash(gh:*), Bash(git:*), and mcp__github_inline_comment__create_inline_comment.
  • Concurrency group claude-review-<PR#> with cancel-in-progress: true, so a new push replaces a review of a stale diff.
  • Triggers also include ready_for_review and reopened.
  • Draft PRs and bot PRs (release-please) are skipped.
  • New Assert the review actually ran step fails a successful action that spent 0 turns and $0, and warns when a review launches no subagents.
  • CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_BACKGROUND_TASKS was not set here, so nothing was removed.

The custom prompt was finishing in a few seconds with "No issues found".
Use the built-in high-effort review, full git history, write permissions,
and an assertion that the review actually ran.
