api.sandbase.ai is the only API host and is reachable; the fallback machinery was solving a non-problem (my earlier timeout was a local proxy issue). This removes it entirely so the code reflects reality and does not imply the host can be unreachable.
Removed:
SANDBASE_MCP_FALLBACK_URLS,endpointCandidates, the multi-candidate loop, the cross-host 5xx retry, and the per-process endpoint preference cache (~/.sandbase/cache/endpoint.json) in both the CLI client and the MCP bridge.Endpointnow carries a singleurl.Kept:
SANDBASE_MCP_URL(replace the single endpoint — not a fallback), the double-bill guard (a non-idempotent call interrupted after being sent is never retried), and the bridge's offline responder (initialize/tools/list answered locally, tool calls return an actionable isError) for transient transport failures. doctor/NETWORK/bridge messages no longer steer users to configure mirrors; they just say check the network and runsandbase doctor.Version 0.3.2. lint clean; npm test 172 pass; package audit passes.
