I'm Guilherme Saade, a backend engineer from Jaraguá do Sul, Brazil. I'm the CTO and co-founder of GovDigital, and I'm on the Filament core team, where I look after plugins.
I've been coding since I was 11. My mom was a teacher and wanted a website for her school, so I built one with Blogger. The love for PHP came later, from a book about it that my father had.
Most of what I publish here started as something we needed at work.
At GovDigital, we build the software that Brazilian municipalities use to offer public services online. It's a Laravel and Filament platform, and I still write a good part of it.
At Filament, I review the plugins submitted to filamentphp.com/plugins, help their authors, and contribute to the framework.

I'm a developer, not a drummer. I bought an electronic drum kit, and I'm building Drummies, the application that's teaching me to play it. I stream the builds.
