Summary

The German locale under content/de was still mostly an English copy. This PR translates those pages into formal German (Sie) and aligns the pages that were already German with the locale glossary.

No content/de Markdown or MDX file is byte-identical to content/en anymore. Code fences, commands, API names, image paths, and URL slugs are unchanged. Other locales are untouched.

Internal documentation links on translated pages use the /de/... prefix. The Apache License 2.0 deed in developer/license.md stays in English; the introduction around it is German. Product names (Docker, Flink, Iceberg, MCP, OIDC, IAM, and similar) stay as titles.

Scope

181 files under content/de, including:

• Homepage, installation (Linux, containers, Helm, Operator, macOS, Windows, requirements), operations, security and compliance, troubleshooting, reference, and administration entry points and their children
• Developer SDK, examples, MCP, and the integration guides that were still English (AI, DevOps, observability, registries, backup, big data, databases, cloud-native, storage, reverse proxies, and the remaining “Sonstige” pages)
• Sidebar meta.json labels where the English label was a translatable section name (Datenanalyse, Datenbank, Speicher, Reverse-Proxy, Cloud-nativ)

Remaining gaps

• No untranslated English page stubs remain under content/de.
• The locale audit still reports three SOURCE_LOCALE_LINK errors on ray.md, vllm.md, and elasticsearch.md. Those are official external documentation URLs whose paths contain /en/ (docs.ray.io, docs.vllm.ai, elastic.co). They match the English pages. Rewriting them would both break the citation and fail the external-URL check.
• Navigation titles that are the same word in English and German (Installation, Administration, Backup, Container, Upgrade, SDK, OIDC, IAM, and product-name page titles) are unchanged on purpose.
• npm run types:check fails on existing implicit-any errors in worker.mjs, scripts/add-language-redirects.mjs, and scripts/worker-redirects.test.mjs. This PR does not touch those files.

Verification

• node .agents/skills/localize-rustfs-docs/scripts/audit-locales.mjs --locales de: 227 German files, 0 missing, 0 extra. 3 errors, all the external /en/ URLs above. No UNTRANSLATED_FILE or code-fence mismatches.
• npm run docs:check: pass (orphans, relative links, fence languages, banned strings, image size, locale parity, technical code blocks).
• npm run build: pass (3785 files generated).
• Rendered pages at http://127.0.0.1:3456: /de/, /de/installation, /de/installation/linux/quick-start, /de/operations, and /de/operations/upgrade show German headings and body copy, and sidebar navigation stays under /de/. Mobile layout was not checked.
