[📢 Notice] Status Report: @react-native-auth/google Renewal & Recent NPM Package Shutdown #1

Hi everyone,

I'm @channel101, the owner of the @react-native-auth GitHub organization. I want to provide a quick update and clarify the recent shutdown of the @react-native-auth/google package on npm.

We are currently giving the package a complete overhaul to fully support React Native's New Architecture. Please rest assured that getting this back up and running is my absolute top priority (P1).

Current Status & Delays
While the core functions and existing feature codes are already prepared, we are experiencing some delays with the React Native plugin setups and the deployment process. Specifically, these bottlenecks are due to:

• Adapting to the new Codegen specifications required for the New Architecture.
• Migrating and configuring the Kotlin packages.
• Complexities surrounding the npm package deployment with these new structural changes.

Moving Forward
I am actively actively working through these setup issues. Due to the learning curve and configuration required for the New Architecture, the final release might take a little longer than initially expected.

I will continue to push through these blockers and will provide regular status updates on this thread to keep you all in the loop.
