Update FluentUI in quarto-preview webui and rebuild bundle - #15184
Merged
Merged
Conversation
Combines the Snyk upgrades for @fluentui/react-components (~9.48.0 to ~9.74.9, keeping the tilde pin on the minor) and @fluentui/react-icons (^2.0.302 to ^2.0.343). They edit the same package.json and lockfile, so landing them separately conflicts. Snyk does not rebuild the committed dist/quarto-preview.js, so the bundle is regenerated here to keep the runtime-boundary check clean.

Combines the Snyk upgrades in #15181 and #15182 into one PR.
Both edit the same
package.jsonand lockfile, so they conflict when landed one after the other. Snyk also never rebuilds the committedsrc/webui/quarto-preview/dist/quarto-preview.js, so each PR failsruntime-boundaryon a dirty tree after configure rebuilds the webui. That red CI says nothing about the bump itself, but it blocks both PRs.Dependencies
@fluentui/react-componentsgoes from~9.48.0to~9.74.9. The tilde pin on the minor is kept, where [Snyk] Upgrade @fluentui/react-components from 9.48.0 to 9.74.9 #15181 loosened it to^9.74.9.@fluentui/react-iconsgoes from^2.0.302to^2.0.343, inside the existing range. The 9.48 to 9.74.9 changelogs declare no breaking changes for the components, tokens and themes used by the preview UI. The places most likely to shift were the
Popoverpositioning inmeca.tsx, theDialogcustommaxHeightand motion changes inProgressDialog.tsx, and theProgressBarrefactor.Test plan
