Summary

The second resync pull request for #540, for the config, workflow, and README drift classes the hub audit reported (audit run 2026-10-26T15:06:59Z | hub 5344d82). It follows #548, which carried the rules these changes apply.

  • .markdownlint-cli2.jsonc re-vendored from the hub. The file is verbatim fidelity, and the hub split its comments into one sentence per line. That is the comment-added finding this pull request's comments label answers.
  • publish-release.yml concurrency uses the ref-scoped group ${{ github.workflow }}-${{ github.ref }} that WORKFLOW.md D7.1 pins. The workflow is dispatch-only, so no github.run_id suffix applies.
  • Concurrency comments on the merge bot, the publisher, and the deploy workflow cite their GOVERNANCE.md "Workflow YAML Conventions" exception by number rather than restating it, as that section requires.
  • README.md: the pre-release shield carries filter=*-g* per the hub's spec/readme-structure.md, so it shows the newest pre-release rather than the newest release. The <!-- Repo --> reference group is sorted by reference name.

Local Review

Two local strict review passes on the frontier tier, each recorded. The first found that the cited rules were not yet carried, which merging #548 and then develop into this branch resolves.
