- SCP-5001-J is a simple piece of cardboard with a cassette player taped onto it, inscribed with a plea for help. When someone wears this cardboard, they become completely invisible to anyone nearby, as other people are unable to see them or even look in their direction. It is kept safely in a janitor's closet at Site-22, and any information about it is stored on a cassette tape labeled "Nickleback Silver Side Up" to prevent anyone from accidentally finding it.

- The Gate Tower Building in Osaka, Japan, is a unique 16-floor office building notable for having an offramp of the Hanshin Expressway pass directly through its fifth, sixth, and seventh floors. This unusual design came about after a five-year negotiation between property owners and the highway corporation, leading to a revision of Japanese laws to allow unified development of highways and buildings in the same space. The highway itself is a tenant of those floors, and it does not physically touch the building, instead passing through as a bridge with noise and vibration protection, while the building's elevators skip these levels.
