Summary

A comment-only correction. Head 1756c8cfd713bc7735664a31ac26a63e8c456fc5, 1 file, +9/-6 (from
git diff --numstat origin/main...HEAD, over the whole diff of this branch against origin/main).

The comment block added with the ten charly box verb skills in #59 said each routing node carries
"the triggers: that generate its DISPATCHER.md row". That is not true of five of them. Measured on
the manifest in this diff:

$ python3 -c 'import yaml; d=yaml.safe_load(open("candy/plugin-box/charly.yml"));
  w=[v["skill"]["name"] for v in d.values() if isinstance(v,dict) and "skill" in v and v["skill"].get("triggers")];
  n=[v["skill"]["name"] for v in d.values() if isinstance(v,dict) and "skill" in v and not v["skill"].get("triggers")];
  print("with triggers (%d):"%len(w), sorted(w)); print("without (%d):"%len(n), sorted(n))'
with triggers (5): ['build', 'generate', 'load', 'reconcile', 'validate']
without (5): ['inspect', 'list', 'merge', 'new', 'pull']

So for inspect, list, merge, new and pull there is no DISPATCHER.md row at all, and #59
added and removed none for them — which is what the node shapes show, and not what the comment
claimed. The same measurement re-run against today's origin/main gives the identical 5-and-5
split, so the correction still applies to the merged tree.

Why a comment is worth a PR. This whole migration exists because prose about who owns what gets
read as fact. A blanket sentence about a generated artifact, sitting in the manifest next to ten
nodes of which five contradict it, is the same defect in miniature — and the next session editing
these nodes would inherit the wrong model of how routing works. The correction is claim-keyed: it
names the split and the two lists, so it can be checked against the file rather than believed.

Filed from a review. This was found by the fresh validator on opencharly/plugin-settings#12,
which blocked that PR for asserting the same blanket claim about a trigger-less skill. That PR's RCA
names this repo as blast radius; this is the follow-up it promised, on the PR that had already
merged and so could not be fixed in place.

This head also brings the branch up to date. The branch was 14 commits BEHIND origin/main,
which is why its auto-merge was never armed. 1756c8c is a merge of origin/main
(6b7a8bc) into this branch, so the branch's own commit 7e4d5fd and its change are untouched at
+9/-6 — no rebase, no history rewrite, no force-push — and the tree that was gated below is the
tree that is pushed. The
branch's change touches one file, candy/plugin-box/charly.yml; origin/main's delta since
the branch point 6f59dc9 touches 17 files and none of them is that file — the three
commits that moved the repo-root charly.yml (#66, #68, #74) moved a different file — so
the overlap is empty and the merge carries no new input to this change's own gate. The full
change-class gate was nevertheless re-run on the merged tree (below), which is the stricter of
the two readings.

How tested

All of it on the committed tree 1756c8cfd713bc7735664a31ac26a63e8c456fc5 (git status --short
empty; git diff --stat HEAD empty — the working tree and the commit are the same bytes).

The gate ran on the commit 612ab94, whose tree is byte-identical to the pushed head's: both
git rev-parse <sha>^{tree} answer 32348592f05b8ecb1dd57178efde57e9100a635e, and the diff
against origin/main is 9 6 candy/plugin-box/charly.yml on both. Only the merge commit's
MESSAGE was reworded before the push — to carry this session's trailer — and a reworded message
cannot change a tree, a diff or a gate's result.

1. The plugin's own gates (this repo's AGENTS.md, Build / validate / test):

$ cd candy/plugin-box && go build ./...                       # exit 0
$ cd candy/plugin-box && go test ./...
ok  	github.com/opencharly/plugin-box/candy/plugin-box	0.023s
?   	github.com/opencharly/plugin-box/candy/plugin-box/cmd/serve	[no test files]
                                                             # exit 0
$ cd candy/plugin-box && gofmt -l .                          # no output — clean

2. The structural check, with a worktree-local, CalVer-stamped binary built from charly's
origin/main (7bb19d0a, scripts/bootstrap-charly.sh, R9 — not a shared install):

$ /home/atrawog/Sync/Atrapub/a/claude/opencharly/.worktrees/pb60/charly/bin/charly version
2026.303.0223
$ /home/atrawog/Sync/Atrapub/a/claude/opencharly/.worktrees/pb60/charly/bin/charly box validate
charly box validate: OK — checked 1 candy, 1 deploy, 7 distros, 7 builders; 0 warnings, 0 errors
                                                             # exit 0

That is the same gate #59 passed, unchanged expectation: a comment cannot change what the manifest
validates to. The diff is git diff on one YAML comment block — no entity, no node, no skill file.

3. The live R10 witness — this repo's own bed check-box-local, a disposable: true kind:local
deploy on host: local, run against a binary that compiles this plugin's unmerged source in
(bootstrap-charly.sh --dev-plugin plugin-box=<this worktree>), so the bed exercises the tree being
pushed and not a published tag:

$ CHARLY_BIN=/home/atrawog/Sync/Atrapub/a/claude/opencharly/.worktrees/pb60/charly/bin/charly \
  /home/atrawog/Sync/Atrapub/a/claude/opencharly/.worktrees/pb60/charly/bin/charly check run check-box-local
charly check run check-box-local: [deploy-add] PASS after 1.225s
charly check run check-box-local: [bring-up-members] PASS after 0s
charly check run check-box-local: [check-live] PASS after 15.634s
charly check run check-box-local: [update] PASS after 1.116s
charly check run check-box-local: [cleanup] PASS after 1.123s
charly check run check-box-local: [cleanup-members] PASS after 0s
charly check run check-box-local: PASS (steps=6)
                                                             # exit 0

6 steps and 10 named checks, all PASS, with skipped_checks: 0 and the summary's diagnostics
at errors: 0, warnings: 0, advisories: 0 (.check/check-box-local/2026.303.0313/summary.yml).
The 10 check ids are box-bed-binary, box-capability-no-providers, box-capability-unknown-class,
box-capability-unknown-class-in-requires, box-capability-malformed, box-capability-accepted,
box-reconcile-closure-reports-unfetchable, box-tunables-retired-key, box-tunables-migrated-key,
box-skill-image-owner.

4. Lint — run by hand, because this repo's CI has no lint step (see ## Filed issues):

$ cd candy/plugin-box && GOTOOLCHAIN=go1.26.8 GOWORK=off golangci-lint run ./...
8 issues:
* errcheck: 6
* ineffassign: 2
                                                             # exit 1

All 8 are pre-existing, reproduced with the identical count at the identical files and lines on
origin/main alone (checked out in a separate worktree, same command) — this diff is one YAML
comment and contributes no Go. The GOTOOLCHAIN pin is required: unpinned, the module resolves to
go1.27.3 (two dependencies carry //go:build go1.27 files) and the host's linter — built with
go1.26.8 — panics with file requires newer Go version go1.27 and reports nothing at all. That
trap and the 8 sites are recorded on opencharly/plugin-box#42.

5. The R5 claim-keyed sweep. The false sentence spans two lines, so the key is its continuation
line, which the corrected text does not contain:

$ KEY='generate its DISPATCHER.md row. The prose is the skill FILE at'
$ grep -rn "$KEY" . --include='*.yml' --include='*.yaml' --include='*.md' | grep -v '^./CHANGELOG/'
0 hits                                              # HEAD
$ git grep -n "$KEY" origin/main -- '*.yml' '*.yaml' '*.md'
origin/main:candy/plugin-box/charly.yml:60:# generate its DISPATCHER.md row. The prose is the skill FILE at

The base hit is what makes the sweep trustworthy — a key that finds nothing on the base would prove
nothing. Scope: the whole org, not just this tree, because a tree-scoped sweep misses repos:

$ gh search code --owner opencharly --limit 40 \
    'generate its DISPATCHER.md row. The prose is the skill FILE'
opencharly/plugin-box  candy/plugin-box/charly.yml

One file in one repo — this one, which this PR fixes. The sibling that had the same defect,
opencharly/plugin-settings, no longer carries a routing-node comment block at all: its manifest
says "ROUTING-ONLY: name/family/owner and NO triggers: — this skill carried no triggers in
the carrier either, so it generates no DISPATCHER.md row"
(candy/plugin-settings/charly.yml:57-58,
read from the API on 2026-10-30). So the correction is complete org-wide once this lands.

Rulebook compliance

  • R0 — loaded /charly-internals:skills and /charly-internals:git-workflow before the edit;
    this repo's own AGENTS.md read before acting in it (Part II fix(validate): port_relay's socat check used the pre-cutover candy name #4), and its Load these skills
    first
    list (/charly-image:image, /charly-build:build, /charly-build:validate,
    /charly-internals:plugin) is the gate set this PR's change class selects.
  • R1 — the finding is a false claim introduced in feat(skills): the ten charly box verb skills live beside the handlers they document #59, raised by a fresh validator on a sibling
    PR; it is fixed here rather than filed away. Its RCA is on opencharly/plugin-settings#12
    (mechanism: one parameterised template stood in for a per-node measurement; missed control: no
    self-audit step compared a body's claim about a generated artifact with the artifact's actual key
    set). Three further anomalies met while gating this head are recorded under ## Filed issues —
    two as added evidence on issues that already carry a finding, one newly filed — rather than folded
    into a comment-only change.
  • R2 — one place to fix it, at the source in the manifest; the PR body does not restate the
    count as an authority, it prints the command that derives it.
  • R3 — no workaround: no "TODO: fix the comment", no silent deletion of the sentence.
  • R4 — the artefact (the manifest comment) is corrected, not routed around in prose elsewhere.
  • R5 — the false sentence is deleted, not supplemented; the replacement names the measured
    split, and the sweep above is claim-keyed and shown to bite on the base.
  • R6 — git status --short was clean before the branch and is clean on the gated tree; the
    branch update is a merge (1756c8c) that leaves the branch's own commit 7e4d5fd and its
    tree untouched — no rebase, no history rewrite, no force-push.
  • R7 — the correction is checkable: the two lists are printed by a command pasted above and
    reproducible from the file in this diff; the sweep is shown to bite on the base and to be silent on
    the head.
  • R8 — the live boundary is crossed live: the bed ran against a real disposable: true target
    with a binary that compiles this plugin's unmerged source in. Nothing was mocked.
  • R9 — the binary is the worktree-local, CalVer-stamped build (2026.303.0223, from charly's
    origin/main 7bb19d0a), and the R10 bed ran against a dev build linked to this plugin's
    unmerged source — not a shared install, and not a published tag.
  • R10 — the change-class gate was run on exactly the commit being pushed: the repo's own
    go build / go test / charly box validate gates and its live R10 witness
    check-box-local, with zero warnings and zero errors. The delta re-gate for this branch update
    was computed as well (empty overlap — see ## Summary), so the merge introduced no new input to
    the gate.

Change classification

Documentation-only (manifest comment) — one comment block in candy/plugin-box/charly.yml is
rewritten to state the measured trigger split. No entity, no node, no skill file, no runtime path,
no label, no pin. Gates: go build / go test / gofmt, charly box validate (0 warnings, 0
errors), and the repo's live R10 witness check-box-local (6 steps, 10 named checks, all PASS).

Filed issues

  • opencharly/.github#227 — "pr-validator: a transient GitHub API timeout in the auto-close step
    fails a PASS run and skips Enable auto-merge"
    . Evidence added, not duplicated: this PR is the
    sibling instance in the ARM step — the review engine returned ## Review — PASS on
    2026-10-22T20:58:07Z and the LAST step, Enable auto-merge, died on its own GraphQL call
    (POST /graphql - 500 with id UNKNOWN in 10057ms, then RequestError [HttpError]: Connect Timeout Error, retries: 0), so the run concluded failure, autoMergeRequest stayed null, and the PR
    carried a red required check beside a PASS verdict. The class is wider than the step that issue
    names: any post-verdict API call in the job can convert a PASS into a red required check, and
    the org's check-stalled-automerge.sh cannot see the shape — it selects only ARMED+BEHIND,
    ARMED+DIRTY and NON_RESOLVING conclusions. The instance is recorded on that issue rather than
    filed twice. Non-blocking for this PR: the fix is another repo's file
    (opencharly/.github's pr-validator.yml), and this PR's change is a comment.
  • opencharly/plugin-box#42 — 6 pre-existing errcheck findings in candy/plugin-box, invisible to
    CI
    . Evidence added, not reopened: the finding is now 8 issues (6 errcheck, unchanged at
    the same sites, plus 2 ineffassign in skill_doc_flags_test.go that arrived with main's
    test(skills): count the findings the negative arm asserts on, and correct the record of the floor reproduction #75), all reproduced on origin/main alone; and the hand-run has a second failure mode that
    yields no report at all (the host's linter panics on the module's go1.27-resolving toolchain
    unless GOTOOLCHAIN is pinned to the module's own floor). The pinned invocation is recorded
    there.
  • opencharly/plugin-task#62 — a shallow materialized submodule makes the pin audit judge an
    unaskable question
    . New. Measured: on a depth-1 clone, `merge-base --is-ancestor ` exits **1** while the same two commits in a full clone exit **0**, so a healthy pin is published as `not-on-the-served-line`. Distinct from `currency mode: an unrun ancestry test is printed as a judged class, with a causal mechanism attached (exit 128 collapsed into exit 1) plugin-task#32`, which covers the *absent-object* path (exit 128): here the object is present and only the *history* is missing, so the fix fix(validate): check the class vocabulary of plugin.requires: too (successor to #31) #32 asks for would not catch it. This PR does not affect it — the diff is a comment — but it is the reason this branch could not be updated until the checkout was repaired (`git fetch --unshallow origin`), and the org's rule that a blobless clone keeps the ancestry question decidable is prose with no control behind it.

A3 — attribution evidence, as delivered in this session

The runtime's own system message reads, verbatim:

You are powered by the model minimax/minimax-m3.1-flash:cloud.

Harness Claude Code, model minimax/minimax-m3.1-flash:cloud — the pair the footer names. The
change is prose-only, so the tier is the prose tier: documentation reviewed. The runtime gates
above were run and are pasted in full, but a runtime tier is not claimed for a comment-only change.

The trailers, measured. The branch's own content commit 7e4d5fd was authored in an earlier
session and keeps ITS trailer (DeepSeek Harness deepseek-v4.1-flash); the pushed head 1756c8c
is a merge commit written by this session and carries this session's trailer. MEASURED on the
landing: GitHub's squash composes the landed message from the branch's NON-MERGE commit messages
only, so the landed commit ee7962bb carries ONE trailer — the content author's — and the merge
commit's message, with this session's trailer, is not carried into it.
The landed attribution is
the content author's, which is correct for the change the commit carries.

…it, not a blanket claim

The comment added with the ten verb skills said each node carries "the
`triggers:` that generate its DISPATCHER.md row". Five of the ten carry none
(`inspect`, `list`, `merge`, `new`, `pull`), so for them there is no row and the
comment described a key that is not there.

Corrected at the source, with the split measured on the manifest itself rather
than asserted: five with triggers (`build`, `generate`, `load`, `reconcile`,
`validate`) and five without. Comment-only change — no entity, no node, no skill
file is touched.

Review — BLOCK

The substantive change is a comment-only correction, and the rewritten comment is consistent with the body's measured trigger split: five skills with triggers (build, generate, load, reconcile, validate) and five without (inspect, list, merge, new, pull). The diff is limited to the YAML comment block, with no runtime, schema, or skill-file changes. No comments were present to disposition.

Blocks

  • candy/plugin-box/charly.yml — PR body diff stat contradicts the actual diff.
    The PR body states: “Head 7e4d5fd, 1 file, +7/-6.” The changed-file header and the unified diff show +9/-6: there are nine added comment lines and six removed lines. This is a concrete, checkable inconsistency in the PR body's evidence, even though the file count itself is correct.
    Required fix: update the PR body to report +9/-6, or remove the line-count claim so the body does not assert a stat contradicted by the diff.

Verdict: BLOCK

STATUS — the BLOCK is fixed; the RCA is this comment.

The finding: the body said "+7/-6" while the diff is +9/-6. The file count and the head were right;
the line count was wrong.

RCA (R1).

  • Mechanism. I TYPED the diff stat from a mental estimate instead of reading git diff --numstat.
    The commit was 7e4d5fd and I wrote the body from the same shell session in which the stat was never
    printed — the number was a transcription of an expectation, not a parse of the artefact.
  • Missed control. "Parse, do not transcribe" is the first of the four body checks in
    /charly-internals:git-workflow ("A body is a DERIVED artefact"), and my pre-push pass checked the
    SECTIONS and the claims but not the one figure I had not measured. It is the same failure class as the
    triggers: template error on plugin-settings#12 — an assertion where a measurement belonged — caught
    twice by the same reviewer, in two different shapes.
  • Blast radius. This PR only. The five earlier bodies carry their stats from git diff --stat, and
    the two blocked ones were corrected against measured output.
  • Root fix. The line now quotes the command it came from and is derived from
    git diff --numstat origin/main...HEAD; the value is 9 6 candy/plugin-box/charly.yml. Habit change on
    my side: no diff statistic enters a body unless the command that prints it is in the same paste.

Nothing else asked for. The reviewer found no other issue: the comment change, the measured trigger
split and the diff scope all match.

Body corrected before this re-run; re-running the failed attempt on the same head (no new commit), since
the fix is body-only.

Review — PASS

What the diff does

One comment block in candy/plugin-box/charly.yml is rewritten. The old blanket sentence ("the triggers: that generate its DISPATCHER.md row") is replaced by a claim-keyed statement: five of the ten verb skills carry triggers (build, generate, load, reconcile, validate), five carry none (inspect, list, merge, new, pull), so those five generate no row. No entity, node, skill file, schema, or runtime path is touched. The comment is self-consistent: the two lists total exactly ten, and the "adds and removes none for them" clause matches the body's account of #59.

Body honesty

  • Diff stat: body says "1 file, +9/-6 (from git diff --numstat origin/main...HEAD)"; the file header and the hunk show 9 added comment lines and 6 removed — +9/-6 matches. This is the exact defect the earlier bot review blocked on, and it is now corrected in the body itself, with the deriving command quoted.
  • Head / file count: 7e4d5fd…, 1 file — both match the supplied state.
  • Trigger split: the body prints the derivation command and its output; the diff does not contradict it. (I cannot re-execute the command in this read-only context, but the change is comment-only and the stated split is internally coherent, so there is no contradiction to flag.)

Tests / security / scope

  • Comment-only change; no executable behavior, so no new test is required and charly box validate remains the correct gate.
  • No secrets, injection surface, privilege, or dependency change.
  • Scope is tight: the false sentence is deleted (not supplemented) and replaced with the measured split. No leftover legacy phrasing or duplication.

Comments dispositioned

  • @github-actions[bot] (6351097105) — BLOCK on "+7/-6" vs "+9/-6": re-derived against the current body; the body now states +9/-6, which matches the diff. The finding is stale/resolved.
  • @aitrawog (6351107017) — status/RCA: consistent with the current state (body corrected, same head, no new commit). No designated maintainer is configured for this run, so this is treated as author context, not a sign-off; the change stands on its own evidence, which it does.

No remaining contradiction between body, diff, and claims.

Verdict: PASS

STATUS — #60 · slug pb60-routing-comment

This PR is stalled by an infrastructure fault, not by a finding, and I am asking the owner before I take it over. The verdict is PASS and the branch is MERGEABLE; what is missing is the arm step.

The stall's RCA (R1).

  • Expected — a PASS verdict arms native squash auto-merge, the required check goes green, the PR lands.
  • Actual — the verdict was PASS (## Review — PASS, 2026-10-22T20:58:07Z) and autoMergeRequest is null; the required check validate / validate is RED, and the branch sits 14 commits BEHIND.
  • Mechanism — the job's LAST step, Enable auto-merge, died on a transient GitHub API fault: POST /graphql - 500 with id UNKNOWN in 10057ms, then RequestError [HttpError]: Connect Timeout Error. That step makes its single GraphQL attempt with no retry and no readiness deadline, so the unhandled error set the job's conclusion to failure — and the red conclusion became the PR's red required check. The fault is in the ARM step's own call, not in the verdict and not in the auto-close step (there was no eval verdict to close on).
  • Missed control — the arm step is not classified as infrastructure the way the verdict path already is (Verdict class: infra), so one transient fault to api.github.com converts a PASS into a red required check.
  • Blast radius — every PR whose validator run hits a transient api.github.com fault in a POST-VERDICT step. The org's check-stalled-automerge.sh cannot see it: it selects only ARMED+BEHIND, ARMED+DIRTY and NON_RESOLVING conclusions, and a COMPLETED/FAILURE conclusion is deliberately out of scope.
  • Root fix — the arm step must make its GraphQL call against a declared readiness deadline (or have its fault classified as infrastructure), exactly as opencharly/.github#227 asks for the sibling auto-close step. I am adding this instance to that issue as evidence rather than filing a duplicate.

The claim is still true and still needed. Re-measured on today's origin/main (6b7a8bc), the split is unchanged and main still carries the blanket sentence this PR removes:

$ git show origin/main:candy/plugin-box/charly.yml > /tmp/pb60-main.yml
$ python3 -c 'import yaml; d=yaml.safe_load(open("/tmp/pb60-main.yml"));
  w=[v["skill"]["name"] for v in d.values() if isinstance(v,dict) and "skill" in v and v["skill"].get("triggers")];
  n=[v["skill"]["name"] for v in d.values() if isinstance(v,dict) and "skill" in v and not v["skill"].get("triggers")];
  print("with triggers (%d):"%len(w), sorted(w)); print("without (%d):"%len(n), sorted(n))'
with triggers (5): ['build', 'generate', 'load', 'reconcile', 'validate']
without (5): ['inspect', 'list', 'merge', 'new', 'pull']

$ git show origin/main:candy/plugin-box/charly.yml | grep -n "ROUTING-ONLY node"
59:# Each is a ROUTING-ONLY node: `name`/`family`/`owner` plus the `triggers:` that

What landing it needs. The branch is 14 commits behind and DIVERGED, so it has to take today's main as a MERGE (never a rebase, never a force-push), the PR body has to be re-keyed to the new head, and the change-class gate has to be re-run on the MERGED tree — the overlap is non-empty (candy/plugin-box/charly.yml moved in #74), so the primary bed re-runs too.

What I need from the owner. This PR is 8 days past its last progress (the 2026-10-22 validator run), so its takeover window is expired — but the owner is the operator's own account, so I am asking first rather than assuming: reply with your status, or HANDING OVER — <reason>. With no answer I will post TAKING OVER — authority: window-expired and proceed.

…trigger-count

The branch was 14 commits BEHIND origin/main, which is why its auto-merge was
never armed. This is a MERGE, not a rebase, an amend or a force-push, so the
branch's own change is unchanged at +9/-6: main's delta since the branch point
6f59dc9 touches 17 files and none of them is candy/plugin-box/charly.yml, so
the merge carries no new input to this change's own gate. The full
change-class gate was re-run on the merged tree regardless.

TAKING OVER — authority: window-expired

The window is expired and the owner has not objected. I asked at 2026-10-30T03:00:29Z whether
to take this over; no comment landed on this thread after that (comments after id 6513877390:
none — the thread holds only the 2026-10-22 BLOCK, the owner's STATUS, the 2026-10-22 PASS, and
my ask). The takeover window measures 60 minutes without progress, where progress is a completed
charly/pr-validator run: the last one on this PR was the ## Review — PASS on
2026-10-22T20:58:07Z — eight days ago — so the floor is satisfied many times over. A takeover is
comment-first, so this comment comes before the push.

Scope. The branch docs/routing-comment-trigger-count on this PR only: one comment block in
candy/plugin-box/charly.yml. No other PR, issue or branch is taken over, and nothing else on
this repo is in this session's scope.

What is already done, on the tree that will be pushed.

  • The branch was 14 commits BEHIND origin/main. It is now a merge commit 1756c8c — not a
    rebase, not a history rewrite, not a force-push — so the branch's own commit 7e4d5fd and its
    change are untouched at +9/-6 (git diff --numstat origin/main...HEAD → 9 6 candy/plugin-box/charly.yml). The merge commit's tree is byte-identical to the tree the gate ran
    on: both git rev-parse <sha>^{tree} answer 32348592f05b8ecb1dd57178efde57e9100a635e. Only the
    merge commit's message was reworded before the push, to carry this session's attribution
    trailer; a message cannot change a tree, a diff, or a gate's result.
  • The change-class gate was re-run on the merged tree: go build rc=0, go test rc=0,
    gofmt clean, charly box validate → 0 warnings, 0 errors, and the live R10 witness
    check-box-local → PASS (steps=6) — 10 named checks, errors: 0, warnings: 0, advisories: 0,
    skipped_checks: 0.
  • The body is re-keyed to the new head and re-linted: pr_body_lint 0 findings,
    check-pr-body-diff OK, check-pr-body-cap OK, check-pr-body-gate OK.

A correction to my own earlier comment. My ask comment said the delta overlap was non-empty
("candy/plugin-box/charly.yml moved in #74"). That was wrong: #74 moved the repo-root
charly.yml, a different file. Measured now: git diff --name-only 6f59dc9..6b7a8bc touches 17
files and none of them is candy/plugin-box/charly.yml, so the overlap is empty. Nothing about
the landing changes — the stricter action was taken anyway, because the full change-class gate was
re-run on the merged tree rather than only the delta re-gate.

Next. Push the merge as a fast-forward, let the fresh validator run on the new head, and land on
its PASS. Every comment on this PR will be read in full before any further push, and every finding
it raises will be fixed in one commit per round.

Review — PASS

What the diff does

One comment block in candy/plugin-box/charly.yml is rewritten. The old blanket sentence ("the triggers: that generate its DISPATCHER.md row") is replaced by a claim-keyed statement naming the measured split: five skills with triggers (build, generate, load, reconcile, validate), five without (inspect, list, merge, new, pull), the latter generating no row. No entity, node, skill file, schema, or runtime path is touched.

Body honesty — re-derived against the current state

  • Diff stat: body says "1 file, +9/-6 (from git diff --numstat origin/main...HEAD)". The file header and hunk show 9 added comment lines and 6 removed — +9/-6 matches. This was the sole earlier BLOCK and is now corrected, with the deriving command quoted.
  • Head / file count: body says head 1756c8cfd713…, 1 file. The PR metadata head SHA and the single ### FILE: header both match.
  • Trigger split: the comment in the diff lists exactly the same 5-and-5 names the body prints, totalling the "ten" verb skills; the two are internally consistent. The body prints the derivation command rather than asserting a bare count, and the diff does not contradict it.
  • Gate-on-612ab94 disclosure: the body transparently explains that the gated commit's tree (32348592…) is byte-identical to the pushed head, differing only by a reworded merge message. This is a consistent, honest disclosure, not a contradiction — a reword cannot change a tree or a gate result.

Tests / security / scope

  • Comment-only change: no executable behavior, so no new test is required; charly box validate and the live check-box-local witness remain the correct gates, and both are reported PASS with zero warnings/errors.
  • No secrets, injection surface, privilege, or dependency change.
  • Scope is tight: the false sentence is deleted, not supplemented; no leftover legacy phrasing or duplication.

Comments dispositioned

  • @github-actions[bot] (6351097105) — BLOCK on "+7/-6" vs "+9/-6": re-derived against the current body; it now states +9/-6, which matches the diff. Stale/resolved.
  • @aitrawog (6351107017) — STATUS/RCA: consistent with current state (body corrected, same change, no new content commit). Author context; not a sign-off.
  • @github-actions[bot] (6351160149) — PASS: substance holds; note it names the older head 7e4d5fd…, which is now superseded by the merge head 1756c8c, but the reviewed tree/diff is unchanged, so the PASS remains valid in substance.
  • @aitrawog (6513877390) — stall status / ask: describes an infra fault in the arm step; it is context, and its re-measured split matches. No technical defect raised.
  • @aitrawog (6514460399) — TAKING OVER: authority/window matter, not a technical finding. It self-corrects the earlier "non-empty overlap" claim (the overlap is empty). No designated maintainers are configured, so no comment is treated as a sign-off; the change stands on its own evidence, which it does.

No remaining contradiction between body, diff, and claims.

Verdict: PASS

STATUS — #60 · slug pb60-routing-comment

Pushed. The branch now carries the merge commit 1756c8cfd713bc7735664a31ac26a63e8c456fc5
(7e4d5fd..1756c8c, a fast-forward — no force, no history rewrite), and the validator is running on
that head (run 40999331727).

The tree that is pushed is the tree that was gated. The merge's tree is
32348592f05b8ecb1dd57178efde57e9100a635e — byte-identical to the tree the change-class gate ran
on — and the diff against origin/main is still 9 6 candy/plugin-box/charly.yml, one file.

The gate that was run on it, on this tree:

go build ./...          rc=0
go test ./...           rc=0   (ok github.com/opencharly/plugin-box/candy/plugin-box)
gofmt -l .              (no output)
charly box validate     rc=0   0 warnings, 0 errors   (worktree-local binary 2026.303.0223)
charly check run check-box-local   rc=0   PASS (steps=6)
                          10 named checks, errors: 0, warnings: 0, advisories: 0, skipped_checks: 0

The body is re-keyed to the new head and re-linted — pr_body_lint 0 findings,
check-pr-body-diff OK, check-pr-body-cap OK, check-pr-body-gate OK — and the live body is
byte-identical to the validated one.

Next: read the validator's full report, fix every finding in one commit per round, and land on
its PASS. Nothing else in this repo is in this session's scope.

…d it says one (#76)

The CHANGELOG record for PR #60 carried a claim that the landing falsified:
"GitHub's squash composes the landed message from the branch's commit messages
in order, so the landed commit carries both". Measured on the landed commit
ee7962b, GitHub's squash composed the message from the branch's NON-MERGE
commit messages only, so the landed commit carries ONE trailer — the content
author's — and the merge commit's message, with this session's trailer, is not
carried into it.

A finding raised on your own PR is fixed or rebutted on the thread; this one is
fixed in the record itself, the way #75 corrected CHANGELOG/2026.302.0039.md,
because the record is where the next reader looks. The PR body of #60 was
corrected to the same text; a later body edit never regenerates the CHANGELOG,
which is why the file needs its own change.

RESOLVED

#60 landed, and the thread closes here — with one correction to my own work,
made in the record rather than only in this thread.

what value
squash ee7962bb93136061df5ddb908ab9de07dc6825a6 — "docs(plugin-box): the routing comment states the measured trigger split, not a blanket claim"
tags v2026.303.0348 and candy/plugin-box/v0.2026303.348, both on the squash
record CHANGELOG/2026.303.0348.md, written by tag-on-merge one commit above the tagged landing (9fa5a96)
validator ## Review — PASS, no findings, auto-merge armed on the PASS

The correction. The body of this PR ended with a paragraph headed "Two trailers, honestly.",
which asserted that "GitHub's squash composes the landed message from the branch's commit messages
in order, so the landed commit carries both"
. Measured on the landing, that is false. GitHub
composes a squash message from the branch's non-merge commit messages:

$ git log -1 --format='%B' ee7962bb93136061df5ddb908ab9de07dc6825a6 | tail -4

$ git log -1 --format='%B' ee7962bb93136061df5ddb908ab9de07dc6825a6 | grep -c 'Merge remote-tracking branch'
0

So the landed commit carries ONE trailer — the content author's — and the merge commit
1756c8c's own message, with this session's trailer, is not carried into it. The landed attribution
is the content author's, which is correct for the change that commit carries. A finding raised on
your own PR is fixed, or rebutted on the thread with evidence
— so it is fixed, in both places it
lived:

The takeover. Posted comment-first at 2026-10-30T03:00:29Z, on an expired window — the last
charly/pr-validator run on this PR was the PASS of 2026-10-22, eight days before. The branch was
14 commits BEHIND origin/main, which is why its auto-merge was never armed; the head was a
merge, not a rebase or a force-push, so the branch's own commit 7e4d5fd and its change stayed
untouched at +9/-6, and the full change-class gate was re-run on the merged tree anyway.

The gate that landed it — go build rc=0, go test rc=0, gofmt clean, charly box validate
→ 0 warnings and 0 errors, and the live R10 witness check-box-local → PASS (steps=6), 10 named
checks, errors: 0, warnings: 0, advisories: 0, skipped_checks: 0.

Currency — two pins are behind, and both advances are automation-owned, not hand-pins.

  • The corpus's plugin-box pin is at v2026.302.0047 and the served tags now run to
    v2026.303.0407. The projection is unchanged across that whole range — git diff --stat v2026.302.0047 v2026.303.0407 -- .agents/skills/ is empty — so the corpus's daily refresh
    advances the pin without a single projected byte changing.
  • The umbrella's plugin-box gitlink is at b9ed121 — the commit that added
    CHANGELOG/2026.296.1100.md for docs(build): the build skill documents the charly image store, not the retired tag step (#62) #63. It is behind, not not-on-the-served-line: git merge-base --is-ancestor b9ed121 origin/main exits 0.
    An advance is available now through ./charly/bin/charly task sync plus a PR — never a hand-pin —
    and the wave needs the full set materialized first, because this clone is a working set.

Nothing is closed by hand here. The body carried no Closes #N, and the three issues it filed
stay open where they belong: opencharly/.github#227 (a post-verdict API failure in the ARM step
turning a PASS into a red required check — the sibling instance is on that thread), #42
(the 8 pre-existing lint findings, invisible to CI), and opencharly/plugin-task#62 (a shallow
materialized submodule making the pin audit judge an unaskable question).

RESOLVED — the thread stays closed; one number in my close-out was measured on the wrong tree, and it is corrected here.

what value
the umbrella's served plugin-box gitlink 6b7a8bc9d8416fb7b9701dbb7123d2669f8bd905 — "docs: add CHANGELOG 2026.302.0047 for PR #75"
plugin-box's served tip 59d3be3c — "docs: add CHANGELOG 2026.303.0407 for PR #76"
the advance available now 4 commits: ee7962bb (#60's landing), 9fa5a969 (its record), 904db6ce (#76's landing), 59d3be3 (its record)
state behind — compare/6b7a8bc…main → ahead_by=4, behind_by=0

The correction. My close-out said "The umbrella's plugin-box gitlink is at b9ed121 — the commit
that added CHANGELOG/2026.296.1100.md for #63."
That is what this session's local checkout
held, on a branch four days behind the served line. The umbrella's served origin/main carries
6b7a8bc. b9ed121 is a real ancestor of it ("docs: add CHANGELOG 2026.296.1100 for PR #63"),
so the sentence named a commit that exists in this repo's history — it just named the wrong end of
the pin.

The conclusion is unchanged, and it is now measured on the served line. The pin is behind,
not not-on-the-served-line: behind_by=0 against the served tip, so this is an advance available
now and never a divergence. It advances through ./charly/bin/charly task sync plus a PR — never a
hand-pin, never a branch checkout — and the wave needs the full set materialized first, because
this clone is a working set.

The two corpus pins, measured on the served lines. The umbrella's marketplace gitlink and
opencharly/docs' marketplace gitlink are both at
f46285f93ab1d0e44674dff0ac9a9360e9d84980 — the corpus's served tip — so both consumers are
current, not behind. The corpus's own plugin-box pin is still v2026.302.0047 in its refs
list (candy/charly-marketplace/charly.yml:198) while the served tags run to v2026.303.0407; the
projection is byte-identical across that whole range, so the daily refresh advances that pin without
one projected byte changing.

Nothing else in the close-out changes, and nothing here reopens the thread: #60 and #76 are both
landed, both validated, both recorded.
