## UI Configuration

### Auto-Open Terminal Sidebar
By default, Open WebUI automatically opens the right sidebar (containing the File Browser and Controls) when a new chat is started with an active terminal.

To change this behavior, go to **Settings > Interface** and toggle off **Auto-Open Terminal Sidebar**. When disabled, the sidebar will remain hidden until you manually open it.
