The Tools hub now explains the free research workflow through a paper-blue evidence workbench, a featured Evidence Search card with its actual public pre-query interface, and clearer practitioner-focused tool cards. It also includes a coherent hero/overview, 1200×630 social preview and 1080×1080 product card with provenance, alt text and exact hashes.

Motion stays finite and illustrative: pause/offscreen/hidden-document gates, one-click replay and dynamic reduced-motion handling. Keyboard selection is immediate, card reveals preserve focused content, and no-JS keeps the product links usable. Public timestamped counters retain the existing same-origin request and unavailable/stale semantics.

This is a source candidate for HQ integration. The builder is intentionally outside the department scope; before release, copy the four exact reviewed binaries to static/assets/tools-studio/ using the mapping in docs/project-memory/HANDOFF_2026-09-05_TOOLS_MEDIA_STUDIO.md. The current builder renderer already preserves the page's explicit social-image metadata. Do not deploy this branch without that asset mapping and the normal retained-artifact publication gate.

Validation: 43 Python UI/builder tests and 8 runtime tests passed. Disposable Chromium passed 1440/390 layouts with zero console/page errors or overflow, all images loaded, keyboard, reduced motion and preference changes, offscreen pause, no-JS and an unavailable stats response. Both media exports fit their exact canvases. Four media hashes and stripped metadata were reviewed; git diff --check passed. Raw/master images and complete QA captures remain private.

Core/home/header/footer/auth/Worker/API/public data are unchanged; the WordPress stylesheet block is byte-identical. No merge or deployment is included.
