Source: the seat ruling on #25467 step E1 (PR #29488, merged as 8118be4bec). getMetaTypes()'s explicit return type was moved out of E1.

ObjectStackProtocolImplementation.getMetaTypes() has an inferred return type that emits 793 lines of .d.ts. Pasting it inline as a literal would keep the d.ts identical but duplicate 793 lines that drift silently. Keeping it inferred lets the declaration emitter print a class comment inside it (E0's seat record, item 5), so every E2 cut reads its raw d.ts block by hand.

Ask (option B of the E1 report): declare a named composed return type, built from the existing exported types, and add a type-equality pin (compile-time Equal<>) against the type main emits today. The d.ts text changes, but the type does not. Then retire the per-cut raw-diff reading.

Clause-②: no, Metadata-protocol: none, a patch changeset. Serial with the E2 cuts on protocol.ts: schedule it between two cuts, outside a freeze day.

Account: os-warren (the seat's linked user; the card's assignee)
Branch: claude/project-thread-cmffpn (the card thread's harness-pinned branch; it names no issue, so this claim is the identity record)
Worktree: the card thread's own container checkout
    Domain: domain:server
    Seat: domain:server#3
File surface: packages/metadata-protocol/src/protocol.ts (the getMetaTypes() signature and the named return type only), one new compile-time type-pin test in packages/metadata-protocol, a patch changeset (stop on breach; explain in the report)
Container & model: S/M, mode:thread, model: TIER_DEFAULT (dispatch-gates --tier: no path-derived mandate), effort: medium (order); the thread runs the project default
    Clause-②: no
    Metadata-protocol: none
    Responsibility: n/a — not a defect card
    Thread-read: 6592554479
Premise: holds (on origin/main e0187d0f, getMetaTypes() at protocol.ts has no declared return type; the dev records main's emitted d.ts block before the edit)
Serial constraints cleared: #25467 E2: no cut and no protocol.ts freeze in flight (cut 1b merged e9d95490; freeze lifted 6588593530). #29414 (seat 5) edits the revertCommit limb of protocol.ts: region-disjoint by claim text; the dev merges origin/main before the PR and after it lands. A freeze declared meanwhile stops the dev.
    Resume-from: none — fresh from origin/main

The body builds const listing and holds const exact typed Equal(typeof listing, MetaTypesListing) = true, so any drift of body or name fails tsc at that line; this retires the per-cut raw reading of getMetaTypes' d.ts block (793 lines on main 1c1a5d40, sha256 b0f7f61a...c85bf). Ruling 6348891160's whole-d.ts reading stays for the other inferred members (getDiscovery, getMetaItems, ...), so the E0 module comment in protocol.ts is left unchanged. PR #29730 MERGED by the merge queue at 2026-11-03T03:43Z, merge commit 545c1c751878095f31e742344a77f89f943247ea (landed before the protocol.ts freeze's section-3 cut)
origin/main 545c1c75 git grep "Promise<MetaTypesListing>" and the exact: Equal<typeof listing, MetaTypesListing> pin in packages/metadata-protocol/src/protocol.ts: present

State: closed by Fixes #29510 (completed); pm:dispatched removed. Delivered: getMetaTypes() named return type with its equality pin, which retires the per-cut raw reading of that d.ts block. The other inferred members keep ruling 6348891160's whole-d.ts reading; no card owed.
