Conversation
Add VM checkpoints, stepping, source breakpoints, suspended-stack inspection, evaluation, and variable editing with asynchronous and synchronous pause modes. Provide a reconnectable DAP listener for application-owned Lua states, a minimal VS Code connector, hosting examples, documentation, benchmarks, and tests.

Adds an opt-in debugger and attach-only DAP server for application-owned Lua states and their coroutines. Hosts can pause execution, use source breakpoints and stepping, inspect stack frames and variables, evaluate expressions, and edit locals, upvalues, and named globals while preserving Lua hooks and shared bytecode.
Supports asynchronous pauses that release the host thread and synchronous pauses that service debugger work on the stopped thread. Includes reconnectable sessions, source mapping and source text providers, a minimal VS Code connector, game/service hosting examples, documentation, debugger benchmarks, and CI coverage.
