Row 182 / b189 #15: a v83 chat-log line that carries an item (BROADCAST_MSG types 6, 8 and 11) links it, as the 2025 client does (report b198).

Client (HeavenClient)

• Item megaphone (type 8) and gachapon (type 11) lines read the item slot with storage_contents::read_item. Type 6 links its item id when it isn't 0.
• Every wrapped row of the line carries the item. On an item megaphone line, the first row overdraws [Name] in the client's item-link violet (#6C4CE3, the chat font at ctx+0xc20).
• A left-button press on a linked row (x < 0x244) shows the item's tooltip 20 px below the click (FUN_008f5b20). It stays while the cursor is inside the 40x40 square around the click, right and bottom edges excluded (PtInRect at 0x8d804e), and goes on the first move outside it.
• New Tooltip::Parent::CHATBAR; the chat bar's tooltip sits below the cursor instead of at the usual offset.
• Known difference: HC's chat bar is its own UI element, so leaving it (even inside the square) also closes the tooltip. Noted in agent_docs/inventory.md.

Tests

• New unit tests in megaphones_tests: Megaphones::item_at, the square's edges (chat_link::keeps), and the violet span's clipping (chat_link::shown).
• Client ctest: 193/193 in build-dbg.
• GUI check against the lane's stack: a bot's item megaphone showed [Red Potion] in violet; pressing the row (on the name or on the link) showed the Red Potion tooltip; it stayed after a small move and went after a move of more than 20 px.
