I am a computer scientist and postdoctoral research scholar at the University of Illinois Chicago. My work focuses on clinical informatics, AI evaluation, and decision support.
I study how high-stakes information systems shape clinical decisions, and how they fail when their logic is opaque, their evaluation is incomplete, or their workflows break at the point of use. My research combines empirical failure analysis with intervention design.
Alongside my academic research, I also build independent public-interest and product experiments around transparency, legibility, and user control in algorithmic systems.
PhD in Computer Science from UIC (2024), advised by Dr. Natalie Parde.
