Failed to Add Secret(password) for the new created Application #1999
When to add Password for the new created Application, we always got error like "Resource 'xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx' does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects are not present." We have used the way to do such operation for many years, but it does not work.
Expected behavior
Is it a bug? If yes, how to fix it?
How to reproduce
Create one Application via await graphClient.api('/applications').post(creationParameters)
Add Secret for the Application via await graphClient.api(`/applications/${createApplicationResponse.id}/addPassword`).post({ passwordCredential: addPasswordContent })
SDK Version
3.0.7

I don't what is going on with Microsoft API but I have the same issue and currently my best workaround is to do retry....
exportasyncfunctionretryOnError(count: number,shouldRetry: (err: any)=>Promise<boolean>,run: ()=>Promise<any>){letlastErr=undefined;for(leti=0;i<count;i++){try{returnawaitrun();}catch(err){if(awaitshouldRetry(err)){lastErr=err;continue;}throwerr;}}thrownewError(`retry exceeded after ${count} times`,{cause: lastErr});}constappPassword=awaitretryOnError(30,async(err)=>{// Sometimes the application parent is not ready, need to wait for it to be readyif(/* check if 404 here*/){awaitsleep(300);returntrue;}returnfalse;},()=>graphClient.api(`/applications/${createApplicationResponse.id}/addPassword`).post({passwordCredential: addPasswordContent}),);
