Outcome

/planning:interview gains a restate action and closes the grilling gaps the parent names.

  • Restate action. One paragraph (goal, problem, done). In interactive sessions it waits for a yes (a fixed floor).
  • Grilling gaps closed:
    • a "because" on the goal;
    • a run-it-to-settle-it step;
    • the quality bar when the user can't judge;
    • a warning against nodding along;
    • stated facts cross-checked against the code;
    • "document my repo" routed to curate-language.
  • One question at a time becomes a user setting.
  • Probe topics are prose in the planning convention.
  • Answer audit. Offer /planning:audit-answers after two accept-all rounds; a setting, where 0 means never.
  • End-of-round index table: dropped.

Done when

  • The interview skill has a restate action file (an actions/ directory), and bash plugins/skill-quality/scripts/check-skill.sh plugins/planning/skills exits 0.
  • The listed grilling steps are in the skill, the two settings resolve through the convention home (config-cascade: settings resolution and convention home #7571), and the index table is gone.
  • Each skill-body cut ships with before/after evals showing no loss.

    Understood: add a restate action (an actions/ directory) to /planning:interview. Close the six listed grilling gaps. Make one-question-at-a-time and the answer-audit offer (after two accept-all rounds, 0 meaning never) settings that resolve through the convention home. Drop the end-of-round index table. Ship each skill-body cut with before/after evals.

    The outcome and done-when items are exact, and the decisions are traced to #7586. I found no open duplicate. #12477 and #12478 are sibling slices of the same parent, not duplicates.
