Concise skills rollout: harness-config \(10 skills, 9 model-invoked\) - part 2 of 2 #10222

Closed

Description

@melodic-automation-lanes

Part 2 of 2 of #6555, split at intake (owner Q93). The done-when below is copied from #6555 as written.

Done when

  • Each rewrite slice's PR carries a per-skill decision table, and every shipped description or body change is backed by a valid measured pass on the subscription.
  • Any skill left unmeasured is named in its PR with the reason.
  • The parent closes when every slice has merged.

    Proposed work class: work-class: scoped
Basis: automated intake triage; the lanes App applied this class.

    Size: Medium
    Complexity: Medium
    Uncertainty: Known
    Flags: none
    Blocked by: none

Understood: this is part 2 of 2 of #6555, split at intake. It covers the concise-skills rewrite of the harness-config plugin's skills. Each rewrite slice's PR needs a per-skill decision table, and every description or body change needs a valid measured pass on the subscription. Any unmeasured skill is named in its PR with the reason. The parent closes when every slice has merged.

Nothing is missing. The sibling slice is #10221 (part 1 of 2). It is a companion, not a duplicate, and I don't treat it as a blocker.

Automated triage, applied by the lanes App.

Not admitted to the issue lane yet: blocker #10221 is not closed by a listed human or a merge.

The work-resolve-issue lane stopped on this issue (host-only): the run reports the work needs a host run the lane cannot make.
It added host-run and removed agent-ready: an agent run on a host builds it, and it waits on no decision from a person.

    In the run's words:

host-only: the done-when requires every shipped harness-config description or body change to be backed by a valid measured /evals:plugin-eval pass on the subscription. Those are paid runs in a sandbox backend, and the parent #6555 says a person approves the spend before they start. This lane has no evals or skill-quality plugin and cannot launch the claude CLI, so it can run none of the runbook's measured steps (smoke pass, probes, before/after measurement, noise report). harness-config also has no evals/ cases and no probes/ files yet, so nothing can be shipped as measured.

What the run says it did not do:

    • The harness-config skill rewrite and its measured eval passes: they need /evals:plugin-eval, /evals:design and /skill-quality:check on a host with a sandbox backend and subscription access, plus a person's approval of the eval spend. None of that is available in this lane.
    • tidy, review, verify and checks pipeline steps were skipped because there is no diff

    Run: https://github.com/melodic-software/claude-code-plugins/actions/runs/41212156013

To hand it back to the lane, remove host-run and add agent-ready again.

Carried, by the Issue Triage session. Its three done-when lines now live in the slices of #6555: #11564, #11565 and #11566 each require the per-skill decision table, the measured pass on the subscription and naming any unmeasured skill, and #11560, #11561 and #11563 hold their eval cases. #6555 closes when those slices close. Closing this split child so the same criteria are not tracked twice.

Closed as carried into #11560-#11566, per the comment above (Issue Triage session).
