Field report 2026-10-22 shows GR_X_7SX85 140 control-object discovery candidates but only 5 selected; exact MMS Read of XCBR1.Pos and Ds1/Ds2 XSWI1.Pos ctlModel returned Integer 0 (StatusOnly). Do not manufacture control authority from their DPC ST values. Add CSWI-only catalog filter in engineering selection wizard, render discovered exact CSWI candidate count and all control candidate count; when CSWI=0, explicitly flag missing model candidates and request CO/CF discovery/SCL evidence. Operator can select an exact CSWI object if present; commands remain fail-closed under live ctlModel + CDC. Regression test guards UX and no direct Operate API from selection screen. Separately #670 contains generic model-read improvements; field retake 74/74 observed CSWI1 ledger values but all GVA/invoke NOT_CAPTURED; separate zero-row CSV has no evidence. No automatic physical commands, no setting ctlModel, no auto-select or fallback from status.

D28 maintainer-authorized archival: older trial PR superseded by the latest accepted working evidence, not merged. The operator will not redo field captures to qualify this historical branch. It is therefore withdrawn as an integration candidate, not treated as a new unresolved capture obligation. Historical HEAD 539805c9707245c9dca3dbdfed00673a8ed87bb5 and full diff remain accessible; any unique unmerged implementation is not claimed to exist in the current RC/stable. Safety and correctness must not be inferred from PR closure. No changes to working version, pinned engine or published release.
