I'm Emmanuel ADEKPLOVI, better known as Manu The Blvcker π
π§π― Developer, problem-solver, and entrepreneur from Benin Republic.
I've spent years building things for the web, starting with WordPress development and integration and expanding into web applications, mobile development, DevOps, and AI-powered workflows.
I've been developing WordPress plugins for 7+ years. From plugins and themes to complete business websites, WooCommerce solutions, custom integrations, and pretty much anything related to WordPress, I enjoy making the platform work for the needs of a project.
You can explore my contributions on my WordPress.org profile.
Over time, my work has grown beyond WordPress. I build web applications using Python and Django, as well as React, Next.js, and related frameworks. I also develop mobile applications with React Native and Expo, including app builds, release management, and publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
And because writing code is only part of the journey, I've invested in DevOps and infrastructure to manage deployments, automate workflows, and keep applications running in production.
More recently, I've been exploring how AI tools can help me build software, solve problems, create video content, and experiment with new ideas.
I enjoy understanding the whole process, from the first idea to implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- WordPress & E-commerce: Plugin development, theme development, website integration, WooCommerce, custom functionality, and third-party integrations.
- Backend Development: Python, Django, REST APIs, and application architecture.
- Frontend Development: JavaScript, React, Next.js, Svelte (4 & 5), SvelteKit, and Tailwind CSS.
- Mobile Development: React Native, Expo, app builds, store submissions, and release management.
- DevOps & Infrastructure: Linux server administration, Docker, VPS management, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and production deployments.
- Databases & Storage: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and S3-compatible storage.
I'm not attached to a single technology or job title. I care about understanding the problem, choosing the right tools, and delivering a solution that works.
I'm also learning how to get the most out of today's AI ecosystem, both as an engineer and as a creator.
- AI-assisted development: Using tools like ChatGPT, Claude Code, OpenCode, and other AI models to explore ideas, write and review code, debug issues, develop features, and build applications.
- AI agents & workflows: Experimenting with agentic tools and workflows that can help automate tasks, support development, and turn ideas into working products.
- AI-powered creative production: Exploring tools for generating video clips, developing visual concepts, and producing creative content for applications, marketing, and digital projects.
- Continuous learning: Using AI to investigate unfamiliar technologies, compare approaches, and accelerate experimentation.
But here's the thing: I use AI as an accelerator, not a crutch.
I can work with AI tools when they provide an advantage, but I can also research, reason through technical problems, write code, debug, and build solutions independently. Knowing how to evaluate the output matters just as much as knowing how to generate it.
For me, the real skill is understanding what needs to be built, knowing how to use the tools available, and making sure the final result actually works.
I'm currently running HOMESCRIPT, where I work on software development, engineering, maintenance, and digital solutions for businesses.
My work spans WordPress projects, custom web applications, mobile apps, infrastructure, deployment automation, and other technical challenges that need practical solutions.
Alongside client work, I continue to build personal products and explore new ideas through projects such as HomeScript, UltiWP, and Tiyalo.
Some projects are public; others are still behind the scenes. Not everything is ready to see the light of day just yet. π

Whether it's a client project, a collaboration, or an interesting idea worth exploring, let's talk.
As Radiohead put it in There There:
We are accidents waiting to happen.
Maybe you'll stumble across this profile by accident, discover something interesting, and we'll end up building something together.
And in an alternate universe, I'd be sailing with the Straw Hats, dodging the World Government in search of the One Piece.
In this universe, I'm hunting bugs, deploying applications, and occasionally wondering why something worked perfectly on my machine. π¨πΎβπ»π΄ββ οΈ
