Some faults can only be fixed by changing text: OCR drops a brace and KaTeX rejects the field. Layer 4 is the smallest possible edit. Add
field replace ID OLD NEW: OLD must occur exactly once in the field or the command is refused saying how many times it occurs;--regexis an option. The field is flagged edited with the author, and its original range is kept in the provenance so the change can be shown against the source.Done when the worked example's fix (
\mathrm{m/s$to\mathrm{m/s}$) is one command, a non-unique OLD is refused, and replay reproduces the edit.Workbench ticket t34.
