A page can set chart instead of rows when the narration compares quantities. Each series item is its own paced reveal, so the board does not dump every bar or point on the first word.

  • kind: bar grows one horizontal bar from the left. Lengths share a left edge and scale to the largest value.
  • kind: line fades in each point and draws the segment from the previous point on that same beat.
  • label is a spoken phrase (beat sync and subject-beat coverage). value must be written as digits in the narration (12 matches; "twelve" does not, and 12.5 does not document 12).
  • At most 6 items. A chart page does not take rows or edges. Page handoffs still play the previous board and the first incoming item together.

docgen benchmark stays at a quality average of 100. The new chart_bars case scores 100 with no skipped waits.

A page can set chart instead of rows. Each series item waits on its spoken label: bars grow from the left, and a line point fades in while the segment from the previous point is drawn. The value's digits must appear in the narration.
