Use it to prototype prompts, sizes, quality settings, local history, and downloads—without a larger framework.

Quick start

git clone https://github.com/jeffloo886/image-generator.git
cd image-generator
python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
cp .env.example .env
# Edit .env and set OPENAI_API_KEY
python app.py

Open http://localhost:2345

Note: Image generation requires a paid OpenAI API key. CI runs lint only and does not call the API.

Security

• Never commit .env or API keys.
• Intended for local development; do not expose debug=True on the public internet without hardening (auth, HTTPS, validated filenames).
