This PR merges experimental changes from the redis branch into main. The work involved testing caching with Redis in a specific service to explore potential performance improvements. After experimentation, it was determined that the complexity outweighed the benefits for this use case, so caching has not been fully implemented. The branch primarily contains exploratory code and learning outcomes.
