💡 What: Refactored handleAgentEvents in packages/desktop/src/renderer/App.tsx to cache assistant and tool call indices before iterating through the batch. Replaced LIFO tool call matching with a FIFO queue (shift()).
🎯 Why: The previous implementation performed reverse array searches inside the batch processing loop. Since a batch contains $M$ events and the messages array contains $N$ items, this resulted in an $O(N \times M)$ operation that degraded performance and responsiveness during long streaming runs.
📊 Impact: Reduces algorithmic complexity from $O(N \times M)$ to $O(N+M)$. Fixes latency spikes during chat rendering and limits CPU blocking on the main UI thread.
🔬 Measurement: Verify by running a large chat completion payload that generates streaming events. CPU profiling will show significantly less time spent in handleAgentEvents. Running pnpm test confirms all components and state still function as expected.
