## Purpose

Fiji VR opens grayscale and RGB stacks from [Fiji](/software/fiji) in a browser-based volume viewer with optional WebXR. It supports channel, Z and time controls, original-resolution volumes, and controller-based rotation and zoom.

## Installation

Download the current JAR from the [Fiji VR repository](https://github.com/WagnerJon/fiji-vr#install-once), copy it into Fiji's plugins folder, and restart Fiji. Open a stack and choose **Plugins › Fiji VR › View in VR / AR**.

For standalone headsets, the plugin can create a temporary HTTPS link and QR code. Direct local-network image transfer is experimental and depends on browser support. See the [GitHub source and documentation](https://github.com/WagnerJon/fiji-vr) for setup, connection details, and known limits.
