Requesting/Begging for a China available mirror image #240
@dubiao — apologies this sat for ~5 years. #411 (merged today) provides part of what you asked for: a new ANDROID_REPOSITORY environment variable that lets you point all system-image / emulator / platform-tools downloads at a mirror of your choice.
The script will fetch sys-img2-5.xml and the per-package zips from that base instead of dl.google.com. Any mirror that preserves the upstream android/repository/... path layout should work (TUNA, Aliyun, etc.).
What this doesn't address: the second half of your request — auto-publishing the prebuilt container images (us-docker.pkg.dev/android-emulator-268719/...) to a registry that syncs to Chinese mirrors. That's an infra/distribution decision outside the scope of this repo's code.
Closing as the in-scope part is shipped. If you hit issues using ANDROID_REPOSITORY against a specific mirror, please open a new issue with the mirror URL and the failure — the code and instructions have changed substantially since this was filed, so a fresh thread will be easier to track.
