Why

govulncheck v1.8.0 (GOTOOLCHAIN=go1.27.2 GOOS=linux govulncheck ./..., run in every module) reports the HTTP/2 advisories published 2026-10-08/09 as called (reachable from this code). They are fixed in golang.org/x/net v0.60.0 and in the go1.27.2 standard library.

Called vulnerabilities, per module:

Before (default branch):

module called
. no Go packages to scan (Hugo module root; kit.go is build-tagged)
playground GO-2026-6617 GO-2026-6612 GO-2026-6611 GO-2026-6603

After (this branch):

module called
. no Go packages to scan (Hugo module root; kit.go is build-tagged)
playground none

The remaining stdlib IDs in "before" (if any) are fixed by building with go1.27.2, which is what the scan used for both columns.

What changed

-go 1.27.1
+go 1.27.2
-	golang.org/x/net v0.58.0
+	golang.org/x/net v0.60.0

Other files:

  • none

Verification

  • playground: go build -o /dev/null ./..., go vet ./..., go test ./... pass with go1.27.2 (darwin host).
  • .: Hugo module root with no Go packages (only the build-tagged kit.go); only its go directive changed.
  • Nothing was built into the tree (-o /dev/null); files were staged by name.
