OGC API Features adds HTML as one of the main encodings. HTML facilitates discoverability of datasets and features in search engines. This page acts as a hub for findings related to search engine optimisation.
We have explicitly registered demo.pygeoapi.io at some of the search engines to investigate the crawling behaviour.
We have added schema.org/dataset annotations to the index pages. Using these annotations, search engines are able to detect that the API exposes datasets. This makes the datasets discoverable via (for example) Google dataset search.
