Purpose
Reference data is used by Data Import (DI) for mapping Inventory entities, but it is not managed by DI. At times, schemas get out of sync with inventory-storage, which breaks DI processes. Setting additionalProperties to true will allow Inventory settings to be deserialized successfully even when new properties are added. This has no impact on DI functionality and should not break it.
