What

Dev Center documentation for the new Event Catalog automation trigger.

  • New docs/automation/event-catalog-trigger.md: configuration (event, pinned version, entity node, ignore switch), event data in trigger/action conditions, {{event.<path>}} template variables (email + document), webhook/custom-action event object, version pinning, loop prevention (each guard attributed to the loop class it stops, worked example, sequence diagram with _automation_chain both ways), limitations.
  • Cross-links from Core Events (new "Event Consumers" list + "Starting Automations from Events"), automation overview/intro, integration-toolkit overview; changelog entry.

Build passes. Review items: the "Core Events" setting label, the hand-written CHANGELOG.md entry (CI may generate one from the spec diff), and the sentence mentioning oversized payloads being fetched from storage.

Related MRs (Event Catalog → automation trigger)

Deploy order: svc-webhooks → event-catalog-api → publish automation-shared 2.5.0 → automation-workers → automation-api → root-config translations → UIs. SDK packages already released: @epilot/automation-client 2.38.0, @epilot/event-catalog-client 0.7.0, @epilot/sdk 2.20.2.

New page covering configuration (event, pinned version, entity node,
ignore switch), event data in conditions/templates/webhooks, version
pinning and loop prevention; cross-links from Core Events and the
automation overview; changelog entry.
